			<description><![CDATA[ Let me explain my setup.  On July 5th and 8th I started up two 55 Gallon and one 10 gallon tank.

Tank 1 - The Kitchen Tank  -  was an established tank (55 Gallon)  where I lost my 6 year old Picostomis (bad spelling) and Angelfish.  I panicked  and cleaned
EVERYTHING from the gravel up, so that is why I say I just set it up on July 5th.  I am now running two power filters and a BioWheel on this tank with two air

			<description><![CDATA[ I set up a new 10 gallon tank on Saturday night and sometime between Sunday night at 11:30 and Monday morning at 3:00 the tank lost 3-4 inches of water all over the floor. We immediately drained the tank. I've now filled the tank back up while it sits in the bathtub but it is not leaking. I even hooked up the filter and placed the bubble stone back in it. I admit dummy me forgot about the possibilty of the air tubing back siphoning while not plugged up to an air pump but I've tried and tried... ]]></description>

I have about 8 biggish (4&quot;-5&quot;) fish in a 29 gallon aquarium<br><br>I use a Tetra Whisper filter with BioBags. I replace the bags every other day as they get really, really gummed up. I have an air strip as well. I feed them flakes in the morning and pellets at night.<br><br>After water changes, within about 2 days, the water turns a brownish cloudy color. I have this tank for about 6 months now, I change my water about 20% every three weeks or so, feed my fish once a day, normal amount, no over feeding. The guppies are fairly new, around 3 weeks into the tank. I initially feared the beta would be aggressive towards the guppies, but it seems the opposite has happened. So I figured I would start it with the filtered water you can get at the store for 29 cents a gallon here. <br> So I got the test strips and when I tested the tap water I wasn't suprised the hardness was at max (300 gh ppm) The total alkalinity was max (300KH ppm) and the pH was 8.4. <br> When I tested the filtered water; the hardness was 0, the total alkalinity was 0, and the pH supposedly... ]]></description>
