			<description><![CDATA[ I have tried - very unsuccesfully - to introduce live plants into my aquarium. Within 24 hours my little finned friends reduce it to bare stumps in the gravel. I feed them peas and algae tablets on a daily basis(which they devour). What else can I do to discourage this very frustrating habit? ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ have a tank (Height : 2 FT, Lenght 2.5FT, Dept 1 FT) with a couple of fishes (6 Koi Karps 2 Gold Fish 1 Red TAil Shark, 2 Angels, 2 Tiger Sharks)<br><br>The fishes are not small, they are medium sized.<br><br>The problem is that the water in my tank gets dirty very soon. 			<description><![CDATA[ Hi I moved to a new location where we have an artesian well. I tested the water and I am baffled. The ph is 7.8 but the GH is 5 and the KH are 4. Does that mean I have alkaline soft water? I was hoping for slightly acid soft water as I like to spawn the tetras. The water does seem weird to me compared to what I am used to. When I wash my hair it is hard to soap up but my hair feels and acts like it has been washed in soft water. Also when I do the dishes, the soap bubbles up fine but the... ]]></description>

Does anyone know other than chemicals and clown loaches or any other kind of loach, what I can do to get rid of them? I'm buying some plants online and the person said he has them in his tank.
