The fishes are not small, they are medium sized.

The problem is that the water in my tank gets dirty very soon. I used to feed them once a day (dry fish pellets) now I have been feeding them twice a day.

I normally remove all the fishes and clean the tank totally

1) I have a 55 gal tank and would like to get an exotic pleco.Some websites recommend a 125 gal for some species because they get to 19.5 inches. Is it true that I would need a much larger tank for a pleco that could get that big?
