Can somone tell me how I introduse my Old betta to a couple of my new dwarf frogs?

Because i have a betta that is huge so it lives in a 20g tank but i don't knowif putting a couple of dwarf frogs in the tank will earitate him.

I found one of our Betas on the floor this morning. I felt so bad just thinking of all the time he must have stayed alive suffering.

But I'm really perplexed about how he got out. Can someone please help me? My betta seems to have stopped eating, and at times he sits at the bottom of the tank and looks like hes gulping air out of his mouth, its constantly moving then in spurts he'll swim like mad....is it just cuz he's swimming so hard? If anyone can let me know if they've seen this before, if its normal or not? I'm more worried that he's not eating. I'm feeding him the generic pet store pellets.

I just bought the most beautiful fish, but I'm worried about the lighting for him. I have him in a 2 litre tank and I've got a regular 40 watt lamp over top of him because I live in a basement and there isnt much light and its not too warm right now. Is this okay? Do I have to worry about the lighting so much as the warmth?
Please let me know, and feel free to offer any advice!
